A method as fast as its ROI

ROI

Robotisation projects are becoming shorter, as new equipment is much less invasive, more flexible, modular and scalable. Autonomous forklifts, cobots and goods-to-person robots, among others, are accelerating these developments. BEXT CS, thanks to its configuration flexibility and modular architecture, enables rapid, competitive commissioning: less than six months to set up, with an ROI in less than 2 years.

Emulator

To facilitate and secure the integration of your new machines or the resumption of control of existing ones, we have developed a mechanized systems emulation tool that enables you to validate 90% of your warehouse's operation independently of the manufacturers. Final on-site integration phases are simulated in the laboratory (minimizing the impact of BEXT implementation on your operations), and software performance testing is simplified.

Methodology

Thanks to our project management expertise, we can adapt to your project management methodology: agile method, V-cycle, etc. Our deployment tools guarantee an end-to-end vision of your deployment management at every level:
Technical: secure deliverables and delivery traceability
Functional: conveyor emulator and radio terminals
Methodology: via our project management and test tracking tool, keep control of your projects

Controlled deployment

Implementing WCS software is notoriously difficult, but the return on investment is significant. The main challenge is to integrate the solution into an operating environment without disrupting current operations. It is essential to master a large number of parameters and to understand the needs and challenges of the project: the stakeholders (project team, consulting firm, publisher, integrator), the necessary interfaces, the functional analysis, the specifications, the test specifications.

Deployment: the keys to success

  • Available, committed project team
  • Good communication with all players
  • A clear scope
  • A defined schedule

Like WCS, new technological developments will be the driving force behind tomorrow's automated warehouse. According to the latest MIT study, human/robot collaboration is 85% more productive than either a human or a robot working alone. These results depend on the success of a WCS deployment, both technically and in terms of increasing the skills of resources.

FAQ

  • Projects vary according to needs and teams. It's important not to underestimate the upstream part of the project, when it comes to gathering requirements and drawing up specifications. Some of our standard deployments have been completed in around 5 months, while complex solutions have taken over a year.
