1976: Industrial remote controls and creation of the Richard Flamée group

The "Bureau d'Ingénieurs du Groupe Richard Flamée", or INGRIF for short, is the first company created by Mr. Richard Flamée, a Belgian serial entrepreneur from the Liège region. INGRIF began by producing and selling radio-frequency remote controls for industrial machinery. Over the years, INGRIF has grown into a diversified industrial group, with companies in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, whose common denominator is to offer highly technical solutions to its customers, with a strong sense of service, supported by a committed workforce.

1996: Move to current headquarters

The INGRIF teams move to the current head office, in a cross-functional organization that emphasizes versatility. INGRIF engineers are called upon to work on a variety of issues (IT, electronics, industrial equipment, railways) according to the needs of the Richard Flamée Group. This versatility has helped the group to grow and diversify even further.

2001: Acquisition of PENTA

INGRIF acquires PENTA, a WMS and WCS software publisher. PENTA's software gives a central place to the radio terminal, which INGRIF has recognized expertise in. INGRIF will bring to PENTA its portfolio of customers, whose warehouses already have an advanced level of automation. Over the years, INGRIF will become the main integrator of PENTA solutions.

INGRIF has experience of heavy industrial projects, such as the management of a reel yard.

INGRIF's services range from consulting to the integration of logistics software in the Supply Chain Execution division.

2007: Collaboration in optical development

INGRIF had the opportunity to collaborate with engineers and researchers specializing in optical development. As a result, INGRIF engineers have been able to move into cutting-edge opto-electronics.

2010: CFD

The entire Richard Flamée group becomes part of the CFD group. Through a series of acquisitions, CFD is organized into 3 divisions: a Supply Chain software division, an industrial techniques division, and the historic railway division. For a decade, INGRIF will be involved in each of these divisions.

2019: Commissioning of the new information system for the Société des Droits d'Auteurs des Journalistes belges

The Société des Droits d'Auteurs des Journalistes Belges (SAJ) collects the royalties owed to its members and ensures their redistribution. To overhaul its information system, it called on INGRIF. INGRIF implements a complete customized solution, including the web portal and programming of the rights management algorithm.

2021: Reorganization of CFD Group activities in Belgium

To accelerate synergies within the group, the organization of the companies changes: INGRIF transfers its industrial remote control business to its sister company EPPE SEGRIF. INGRIF becomes a pure IT company, whose main activity is to integrate the CFD group's logistics software in Benelux and France, and to provide first-level maintenance for its customers. At the same time, it continues to provide IT consulting services and develop customized solutions.
